Gordon Keith Rose Passed away December 10, 2012 at the age of 93. He was born February 15, 1919 in Gould, Ohio to Henry and Amelia Rose. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Merideth, Louis, Herman and sisters, Bertha, Leona and Velma; many nephews and nieces. A World War II Veteran 1941 to 1945 and fought in No. Africa, Belgium, Tunisian, Algiriapy, Sicily, Normandy, France and Germany. He was wounded in action and received the Purple Heart and numerous medals. He belonged to Disabled American Veterans (Ohio), Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4903. Moved to Tucson 40 years ago, played music and roping entertaining folks around town. He was a well loved special person and will be missed by everyone who knew him, especially his Tucson family. Rest in peace, dear uncle Gordie. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at East Lawn Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd. in the Mausoleum of Peace on Friday, January 4, 2013.
