Jean Rogers Jordan-Stoll left her friends and family on earth Thursday, September 26, 2013, to be reunited with family and friends in heaven. Born Jean Lila Rogers on December 30, 1936 to Althea and Walter P. Rogers in Philadelphia, PA. Her mother Althea died in 1948 and father remarried Helen Molony Rogers, who was a loving stepmother. Jean graduated from Haverford High School (PA), East Stroudsburg University (PA) with a BS in Education and Nazareth College, Rochester, NY with a MS in Education. For 25 years, Jean was an elementary school teacher in Springfield, PA, Bad Kreuznach, Germany and Webster, NY. In Bad Kreuznach, Germany she met and married Paul G. Jordan Jr., captain in the US Army, in 1963. He passed away in 1988 in Webster, NY. She retired to Tucson in 1995 and later met George M. Stoll. They married in 1997. Jean loved being around people. She was involved in the Welcome Wagon Club Northeast, played bridge, traveled, read and spent time with family. Jean had been a fighter of Multiple Myeloma for over 19 years. Survivors are husband, George Stoll, Tucson, AZ; children, Paul "Jay" G. Jordan III (Alison) of Marietta, GA, Tracy Jordan Mickle (Bill) of Tucson, AZ; brother-in-law, Ron Jordan; stepchildren, Ron (Trish) Stoll, Charles (Michelle) Stoll, Karen (Bob) Wilson, Cathy (Fred) West, Michael (Mary) Stoll, Ed (Caroline) Stoll; grandchildren, Walter Johnson, Naomi Johnson, Benjamin Jordan, Nathan Jordan, Amanda Mickle, Ryan Mickle, Melissa Stoll, Michael (Yara) Stoll II, Mackenzie Stoll, Kelli Lehrling, Christine Myers, Kathryn Stoll; brother, Walter (Nancy) Rogers; sister, Nancy Deubler (Ken); nieces and nephews, Kristin Deubler, Timothy Deubler, Joe Rogers, Paul Rogers, Kelly Rogers and many great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to the local Multiple Myeloma support group in her name or the National Multiple Myeloma (IMC). To honor her, and to help in the fund raising against this illness, her son Jay will run a half marathon in February 2014. Raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Donations to the fundraising campaign may be made at Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Nearly 958,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. A Celebration of Jean's life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Tanque Verde Lutheran Church, 8625 E. Tanque Verde Rd., Tucson, AZ in the north outdoor chapel. Services in Webster, NY will be held in the spring of 2014.
