Lester Ernest Harrison 95, born February 7, 1918 in Creston, Illinois, passed away July 15, 2013 in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Annette V. Harrison; daughters, Trudy Sheets (James), Leslie Purpura and Valerie Ciaccio (Chris); seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilhelmina and William Harrison; three sisters and three brothers. He proudly served his country in World War II and loved his family dearly. He was a member of VFW and East Side Elks Club. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 9071 E. Old Spanish Trail, Tucson, AZ 85710. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors or the charity of your choosing. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE, HEATHER MORTUARY.
