Raymond Clyde Baldwin 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 while at his home. Visitation from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd., with Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014. Interment will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Ray was born to Clyde and Emma Nye Baldwin on August 25, 1931 in Nogales, AZ. He had one sister, Hilda Baldwin. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister. Ray served in the U.S. Navy from October 7, 1948 to August 21, 1952. He was employed by Tucson Fire Department from September 16, 1953 until retirement on August 31, 1979. He was also employed by Tucson Suntran Bus from July 20, 1988 until March 31, 1995. Ray was a faithful volunteer for Bible Chapel's Emmaus Prison Bible Studies ministry from 1995 to 2013. Ray married Vourneen Stephens on July 3, 1955 in Lordsburg, NM. They have two children, Raymond, Jr. (Sharon) and Patricia (Joe) Sias; five grandchildren, Daniel and Bryan Baldwin and Billy, Karon and Stephanie Sias and one great-grandson, Isaiah Baldwin.
