Roger M. Closs, Jr. 89, passed away August 3, 2014. He was born March 28, 1925 in Wymore, NE and made Tucson his home in 1947. Roger proudly served in both WWII and the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ruth Flesher, Tucson AZ; children, Michael Lawrence Koger Closs, Tucson AZ, Rogena Lynn Closs Kennedy Chriscaden, Mill Creek WA and Julie Leigh Closs Haggerty, Yucaipa, CA; also eight grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. A Memorial Service with Reception after will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2014 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 8051 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson. Family requests NO ties and NO flowers at the service. PLEASE make memorials to Arizona Boys State Fund, 4701 19th Ave., Ste. 200, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery.
