William "Bill" Dow at age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 3, 2013. Beloved husband and best friend of 45 years to Elizabeth. He will be sadly missed by his son, Mark; daughter-in-law, Helen; grandson, Jordan and his many friends and family throughout Arizona, Canada and Hungary. Born in Republican City, Nebraska on July 12, 1922, Bill Dow attended the University of Nebraska pre Pearl Harbor. During WWII, Bill served in Company G, 350 Regiment, 88th Infantry Division and was honorably discharged from the Army on October 9, 1945. After World War II, Bill graduated from the University of Southern California School of Journalism. He was a reporter on the Arcadia Weekly, in Southern California; The Las Vegas Review Journal in Nevada; The Newark Star Ledger in New Jersey, and spent over 20 years in the public relation business in Los Angeles. He and his wife owned and operated an office furniture manufacturing plant in Calgary Alberta Canada from 1971-1989. After retiring, Bill and his wife moved to Arizona where Bill spent his time writing two books and enjoying the views of the Catalina Mountains. Arrangements by NEPTUNE SOCIETY.
