GORDO Leon Livingston, age 86, of Gordo, died Dec. 2, 2012, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delbert Canterbury and Rev. Henry Trull officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Hightogy, Ala. with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Livingston; his parents; his sister, Lois Street; and his grandson, Allan Livingston.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Betty Lou Livingston of Gordo, Ala.; his daughter, Nancy Lynn Robinson (Al) of Gallup, N.M.; his sons, Billy Ware Livingston (Betty) of Sumrall, Miss., Ricky Allan Livingston of Gordo, Ala., Randy Clinton Livingston (Teresa) of Gordo, Ala., and Rocky Leon Livingston (Lisa) of Gordo, Ala.; 10 grandchildren, Daryl Livingston (Shelia), Duane Livingston (Lori), David Livingston (Tammy), Benji Livingston (Brenda), James Livingston (Ginny), Ginger Jones (James), Jeremy Livingston (Mindy), Justin Livingston (Lisa), Amanda Atkins, and Andrea Lyons (Brad); and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Livingston was born October 22, 1926, in Kennedy, Alabama to the late Clinton Livingston and Della Pauline Freeman Livingston. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and a retired self employed truck driver. A veteran of World War II, Leon was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
