Alison M. GRIFFIN Obituary
Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter Sister, Aunt & Friend ~ Age 44 Alison Mary Griffin (nee Srnec) passed into eternal life after a painful battle with cancer on June 9, 2014. She died at peace surrounded by her family. Survived by husband John, and children Jack, George and Max; parents Robert and Marilyn Srnec, sisters, Cathy (Jim) Lingenfelter and Midge Srnec; sister-in-law, Maureen (Ken) Hayes; brother-in-laws, Pat (Katie) Griffin and Joe Griffin; nieces and nephews, Griffin, Sydney and Emmet Hayes, Patrick, Sean and Clare Griffin, John and Maddy Lingenfelter, Renee Reynolds and Spencer Srnec. Alison was born in Minneapolis on August 8, 1969. She graduated from Holy Angles High School in 1987. Alison received her Bachelor's degree at the University of Saint Thomas, and her Master's degree from the University of Minnesota. After graduation, Alison spent over 20 years teaching in the Minneapolis Public School District, eventually moving to Garlough Elementary School in West St. Paul. Her family wishes to thank her friends for their undying support over the past year. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH (51 West 7th St., St. Paul). Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at O'HALLORAN AND MURPHY FUNERAL HOME (575 S.
