Of Apple Valley Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Veterans Day, November 11, 2013. Tony was born in Salamanca, NY. He joined the
in 1949 serving as a member of the US First Cavalry Division and was awarded the
in Korea for Meritorious Service in connection with military operations against the enemy. He is preceded in death by 7 siblings. Tony is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dee; sons: Leon (Kari), Dana (Antoinette), Christopher (Gabriela) and daughter, Darlene. He has been blessed with six grandchildren: Tony, Dominic, Porter, Emily, Frances, and Alexa; sister, Mary Jane Hicks; and other loving relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30am Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Mary, Mother of the Church (3333 E Cliff Rd) Burnsville. Visitation from 4-7pm Friday at White Funeral Home (14560 Pennock Ave). In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to The Mayo Clinic Cancer Research.
