Corrine Claire WATSON Obituary
Age 61 ~ Of Stillwater, Minnesota Passed away on January 7, 2013 after a tireless battle with cancer. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12 at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension at 214 North Third Street in Stillwater, Minnesota. Rev. Buff Grace will officiate. Burial will follow the funeral at Oakland Cemetery in Marine on the St. Croix. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bradshaw Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11 at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension. Corrine is survived by her husband Val; daughter Carly (Ed) Kohler; son, Luke (Georganne) Watson; son, Quinn (Kristin) Watson; son, Jake Watson; and grandchild Sasha Kohler. Corrine was born October 19, 1951, raised in Hibbing, Minnesota. She graduated from Hibbing High School in 1970 and the University of Minnesota in 1974 with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Corrine worked full-time as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines from 1974 to 2007 while raising her four children. Corrine also worked for the United Way of Washington County-East from 2007 to 2011 as the AFL-CIO Labor Liaison. Corrine loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed traveling, running, cross country skiing, and shopping. She only slowed down to cheer on her four children in their many sports and activities over the years. She is loved by many and will be deeply missed.
