Fosten Annett "Foss" BOYLE Obituary
Age 75 Of White Bear Lake Died peacefully on December 5, 2012 surrounded in the love of his family. He was born to Charles and Emmeline Annett Boyle on March 20, 1937, in Gaspe', Quebec. Moved to Minnesota with his parents and two brothers in 1949. Following graduation from Mahtomedi High School in 1955 he attended the University of Minnesota. After graduation from the University he joined the Minnesota Army National Guard. Fosten married Beverly Rehbein in 1959. After returning from 6 months of serving in the Minnesota Army National Guard he worked a short time as a manager trainee for Red Owl Foods. He began his Human Resource career at Hamm's Brewery and in 1967 he began working for Honeywell, Inc. where he held many titles, serving as Corporate Vice President of Human Resources for 12 years and on the Honeywell Management Committee. Fosten retired from Honeywell in 1992 after 25 years of service. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors for both Delta Dental of Minnesota and Dunwoody College of Technology and served on the boards of DeCare International and Irish International Company, as well as others. Fosten's dedication and passion also extended to the University of Minnesota Men's Gopher Hockey team, where he was a season ticket holder for over 35 years. Fosten is preceded in death by his parents, brother Morris and beloved son, Bradley Charles. Survived by his wife and best friend of 53 years Beverly, daughter Amy (Christopher) Hawley of White Bear Lake, daughter-in-law Dana Boyle of Woodbury and five grandchildren, Brendan Boyle, Olivia, Cecilia, Sylvia and Julia Hawley. Brother Harvey (Lynn) Boyle of Winnipeg, Manitoba and many other dear relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 10th beginning at 9:30am. Funeral service begins at 11:00am. Both will be held at St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church on the corner of Clark Avenue and 1st Street in White Bear Lake.
