Born June 28, 1923 Passed away Feb. 12, 2013 at age 89 Preceded in death by wife Sylvia Chaney Colby and parents Dr. Woodward and Ruth Colby. Graduate from the U of MN Dental School & served in the US Navy for over 20 years, retiring as a Captain. Upon retirement he operated a private practice in St. Paul. Gage was a member of several dental societies, Rotary Club and the 3rd Order Society of St. Francis. He is survived by wife Ginny; children Christopher (Debbie), Gregory (Carol Schoen), Katharine (Bill Colby-Newton) and Rebecca (Al Kampf); 2 stepchildren, Bill Manke (Carole), Claudia Becker (Steve); 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandsons. Many thanks to the staff of the Wellington & hospice. Requiem service 10:00 AM Saturday, February 16th at St. Paul's on the Hill Episcopal Church, 1524 Summit Ave, St. Paul. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
