George loved boats and boating
His first boat up on the Fox River was a wood boat that allowed his family and friends to go all over the chain of Lakes. His first fiberglass boat was next and his passion for design
led him straight to Henry Slicker who designed the Slickcraft Robalo and Tiara boat products.
A red Slickcraft 18 ft was first and it was fast and fun. His next jump was to a 23 ft Robalo he and I drove down to Big Pine Florida to enjoy at the Ocean Reef Club. Wow did that help us discover the amenities of fishing and snorkeling in Key Largo.

Dear Family of George, I just learned of George's passing today. I had the privilege of meeting this great soul a while back. He was a gentleman and just plain fun to be around. A real zest for life. How lucky you all are to have know him all your life.

My family has great memories of your mom and dad and the rest of "The Gang". Whenever they got together us kids didn't get much sleep with the laughing going on downstairs. "Timmy" left us way too soon. It is so nice to hear how much your dad enjoyed his later years on the bluff by the great river. May his spirit soar.
with condolences for your loss,

Ah Mr. Dupré... We will miss you, but we will remember all the great experiences you put before us when we played as children on Pleasant Hill.
Now, many years later, as a professional designer myself, your creative insights and pursuits were an inspiration to me (and Mark) and now, as an adult, I find it humbling where they were ignited, where they came from.
You led an amazing life and as far away as we are now, you will still have a place in my memory and heart, as to what you shared with us and what you represented on this earth.
May your spirit somehow guide us all to be better seekers, believers, and doers, sharing our love, and making the world a better place.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. George was truly a great man who has touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him. His spirit is flying with the eagles over the bluffs of the great Mississippi. May God comfort you during this most difficult time. Debra and James Musgrave, Arkansaw, Wi.
