Dr.  Harry C. WEBB Obituary
Age 94, of St. Paul Died peacefully on August 16, 2014 Professor at the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota, Audio-Visual director, gifted photographer, filmmaker, author and WWII veteran. Survived by wife Lois; children Bill (Sue), Tom (Trevor), David (Julie), Nancy (Dennis) Derheim; grandchildren Corinne, Andrea, Luke, Grady, Sarah, Megan, Anna, Benjamin, Andrew and Blake; brother Clarence, sister Jane. Harry was exacting about his photographs, and for decades taught students the art of photography in the film-and-darkroom era. He was a fixture at St. Thomas for nearly half a century, a happy and free-spirited soul, and a fun-loving musician who loved old-time songs. Harry treasured his family, and they treasured him, including during his final years at the Minnesota Veterans Home. Among his works was the book "Faces of St. Thomas," a collection of photographic portraits of his St. Thomas colleagues. Funeral at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, Roseville, at Hamline and Hwy. 36. Visitations 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 25 at the church; also, one hour before the funeral. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church or the donor's choice.
