Age 83 ~ Of Eden Prairie Passed away January 19, 2013 Jack was born July 31, 1929 in Nevada, Iowa. He graduated 2nd in his class from Culver Military Academy, and went on to earn his B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and The
University of Illinois
, with honors. Jack served in the U.S. Army for 2 years as a paratrooper. He began his 39 year career with 3M in 1953, and rose to the position of Division Vice President. Jack was an all-around athlete. He wrestled and ran track in high school, and had a life-long love of skiing, tennis and golf. Of all the sports, he was most passionate about golf, and always played at a very high level. As accomplished as he was in work and sports, Jack always kept family and friends at the center of his life. He attended Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina, and First Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs, FL, where he spent winters for the last 18 years. He was devoted to his family as a husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. A special thanks to the staff at English Rose Suites, in particular LaDonna and Tracie, and Shalom Hospice for the wonderful care given to Jack. Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Huddleston; his sister, Jean Gjetson; granddaughter, Mollie Meldahl; his 2 nephews, David and Bruce Amlicke; and his niece, Beth Amlicke. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Sandra Huddleston Moseman; and Lori Pauline Huddleston. Visitation and celebration of life service will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Road, Edina, MN, Wednesday, January 23. Visitation at 9:30AM. Service at 10:30AM.
