Jordan J. USSAI Obituary
Born 1-25-1935 Died 8-27-2013 Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather Age 78, peacefully passed away into the hands of the Lord on August 27, 2013. Preceded in death by wife of 48 years Agnes (nee Conway), parents John and Clelia, brother Claude, sisters-in-law Katherine Koch and Marie McMahon. Survived by wife of 2 years Sharon Schmidt; daughter Anne (Dwayne) Cohen; grandsons Brendan and Christopher Cohen; mother-in-law Celia Schmidt; sisters-in-law Beverly, Carmelite Sister Patricia Conway, Anna Mae Owens, and Jane (Dave) Volz; brothers-in-law Joseph (Betty) Conway, John (Margaret) Conway, and David (JoAnn) Schmidt; 45+ nieces and nephews and many cousins in both the Conway and Ussai families. Jordan was born in Cleveland, OH, attended Berlin Heights Grade School and Collinwood High School. He served with the U.S. Navy 1952-1955 during the Korean conflict. After discharge, he attended John Carroll University in University Heights, OH. He worked in Cleveland and Columbus OH; retired in 1997 and moved to Woodbury in 2000. Member of VFW 1782 and American Legion 168, White Bear Lake. Funeral Mass Friday, 8/30/13 at 10:00am, St. Ambrose of Woodbury, 4125 Woodbury Drive Wdbry 55129 (www.saintambroseofwoodbury.org for directions due to construction) with Visitation one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Carmel of the Holy Family (3176 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Heights, OH 44118) or donor's preference. 651-702-0301
