Wendy C. CAMMINS Obituary
Age 65 Of Minneapolis Died with grace at home surrounded by friends and her cat Baby on Friday, December 27, 2013 following a courageous battle with lung cancer. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Wendy was a travel agent and former co- owner of Travel One. She spent 42 years helping others fulfill their travel dreams as well as her own, herself traveling to all seven continents. Preceded in death by parents Jerry and Reneé Cammins and nephew Barry Schneider, Wendy is survived by her nephew Craig Schneider, sister Barby Schneider (Phil), uncle Marshall Silberman, Marco and Grant Beckstrand, Allyn and Emmy Schneider, Michael Schneider, former husband Rick Klass; step-children Emily, and Michael Klass, as well as countless friends drawn to her qualities of joy and style. She was invariably generous with her time, money and care for friends, strangers and charities alike, especially Quota International of Minneapolis, of which she was past president. An avid supporter of basketball, lover of jazz, defender of civil rights, patron of the newest restaurants, she lived life to the fullest and died without regret for things undone. Memorial service 11:00 a.m. MONDAY, December 30th at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. So., Minneapolis.
