Joseph A. FINK Obituary
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa Born January 10, 1930. Passed away suddenly on June 19, 2013. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Lorraine; father, Arthur; mother, Hedwig; and brother, James. Survived by sons, Tim (Dee Clifton) and Tom (Shari); daughters, Cathy (Bert) Kraus, Cindy (Brian) Stalock and Christy (John) Wilcox; grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Sam, Nick (Malia), Alex (Felicia Nelson), Adam and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ella and Colton. Also survived by sister-in-law, Carol Fink. Joe served his country as a member of the United States Army in the Korean War. He was an active member of the VFW Post 295. Joe was a member of the Brotherhood Railway Carmen of America and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters of America, working as a driver-salesman for Gustafson Beverage, DeMay Distributing and McLean Distributing. He also worked for the Minnesota Department of Transportation. After "retiring" he worked at the City of South Saint Paul's compost site. During the 1960's and early 70's Joe was an integral part of Holy Trinity parish's youth softball program and an avid supporter of Holy Trinity's annual bazaar. An athlete in his early life, Joe played on the very first South St. Paul Packer hockey team. Joe and Lorraine then spent countless hours watching their kids and grandkids participate in sporting activities for the Packers. Joe was a social person and had many friends from all parts of his life. He had a great sense of humor. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM, Tuesday, June 25th at the CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY, 6th Ave. S. @ 8th St., SSP. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. 651-451-1551
