Schriefer, Charlotte Irene SAN DIEGO -- Charlotte Irene Schriefer, age 76, passed away on May 20, 2013. Charlotte was born in San Diego on December 1, 1936. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ted and Edna Schriefer. She earned her B.A. Degree and teaching credential from San Diego State College in 1958, and earned her Master's Degree in Education in 1965. Charlotte taught for 33 years before retiring in 1991. During the past six years she enjoyed traveling to our western national parks with her brother, Ted. She also took great pleasure in attending the theatre and opera. After retirement Charlotte became active in a Tai Chi class at the La Mesa Senior Center, as well as an exercise program at the Brier Patch Campus of Sharp Grossmont Hospital.
