Christopher Y. Faulkner Obituary
Faulkner, Christopher Y. 12/01/1967 ~ 04/22/2014 LA MESA -- Chris was uninjured in seven car accidents, but lost his battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He worked in book stores and bicycle stores all around San Diego County and Seattle. He spent his early years in New York, was stationed in Germany and Arizona while serving in the Air Force, lived three years in the NorthWest, but San Diego was home. Chris couldn't get enough of a hot Santa Ana wind. He was kind, adventerous, funny, honest, open-minded, generous, curious, brave, and a tiny bit vain about his hair. The youngest of Ron Faulkner's three sons, Chris was preceded in death by his mom, Judy, and daughter Loah. Survived by wife Nancy, son Guy, brothers Blaine and Jon, in-laws, and extended family. He will be remembered for his cooking skills, blue eyes, the ever-present pocket knife, crossword puzzles, his fondness for coffee, chocolate, and garlic. Chris longed to find just the right hat to suit him- in his honor, find your hat and wear it in good cheer.
