BAYDO, DIANNE Oct. 15, 1947 to Sept. 13, 2012 Dianne Baydo was a lifelong resident of San Diego; she was born in La Mesa in 1947 and attended Grossmont High School and Grossmont College. On December 31, 1982, she married Jerry Baydo and they moved into their home on Hillslake Drive in El Cajon. She worked as a self-employed conference planner and then became the administrative manager of National Social Science Association a national educational association where she worked for twenty five years coordinating publications and conference and seminars. After her retirement, she and her husband traveled frequently to Las Vegas with trips to Hawaii and cruises to Mexico and to the Caribbean. She enjoyed Charger games and Del Mar horse racing and frequent Sunday brunches, but since August, 2009 she struggled with breast cancer and was taken by cancer on Thursday, September 13. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, four step children, and ten grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 17, at Holy Cross Chapel and Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
