Herr, E. Russell UNION CITY -- E. Russell Herr age 93, went home to our Lord April 7, 2013 at the California Masonic Home in Union City, CA. He was born October 20, 1919, in Long Beach, CA, to John J. and Gertrude Herr. Rusty was active La Mesa F. & A M., Eastern Star, and Al Bahr Shrine. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Janet and Pete Champ of W.V., Beverly Taft of Mich.: grandsons, Rusty and Doug Cassel and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marion of 65 years who passed 6 weeks earlier; his parents and three brothers. Masonic services will be 10:00 a. m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the California Masonic Home in Union City, CA.
