Marsh, Judy Collin RAMONA -- Judy Marsh, 57, of Ramona, passed away on Friday the 10th of January, 2014. Born to John and Margaret Collin, 21st of February, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Judy Graduated from El Cajon Valley High School in 1974 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCSD in 1978. She married Patrick Marsh in 1977. Judy was a proud and loving mother and grandmother, and is survived by husband Patrick Marsh, of Ramona; twin sons David Marsh, of Escondido; Ian Marsh of San Diego and grandson Aron Marsh. She is also survived by her mother Margaret Collin, of El Cajon; brother Bruce Collin, of Chula Vista and sister Becky Love, of Pleasanton. Judy and Pat made homes and friends in San Luis Obispo, CA, Boulder, CO, San Diego, CA and Idyllwild, CA. Judy was an avid quilter, and loved to travel with friends and family. Her influence will be carried on by her family and friends.

I was shocked and very sad to hear of your families loss. Judy was a very special person and left us way to early. She was my friend through the Ramona Back Country Quilters and through working with her on quilt show committees, I know how much she loved and cared about her family. I was so sorry to hear about Judy's passing. We were like a family at Bay Port Press and Judy was such an important part of that atmosphere. She was one of the rare people who was always pleasant to be around, always helpful and kind, and there just aren't enough like her. Condolences to Pat, Ian, David, Bruce and Margaret and the whole family. Condolences also to the people who weren't literally family but sure felt like they were thanks to Judy.

Unbelievably saddened to hear of Judy's passing. I was lucky enough to know her for a very long time, and there is no one I have had more respect for. She leaves the world a legacy of love, kindness, and integrity. I will always remember her smile. The world is a lesser place without her in it.

I was just heart sick to hear of Judy's passing. She was one of my favorite customers at the Crazy 9 Patch quilt shop. It was only about two weeks ago she came in and I hadn't seen her in a while. We shared the fact that she had twins and I just became grandma to twins. My heart goes out to the family at this very difficult time. Margaret, you dear mom, this especially has to be the hardest thing to try and understand. We just shouldn't have to go through the pain of losing a child. One day when we all meet in heaven we'll know the why's. Cherish all the wonderful memories. Please know you're in my prayers.
