Marc and I have been good friends for over 50 years and have kept in touch. I did not know of his passing until today, October 15th. I thought he had gone to Boston for an operation on his back. My condolences to Darlene and her family.

Wow. I only knew Marc as his tax accountant for several years. Last I spoke with Marc was on August 20th. He was headed to Boston on September 13th for some very major surgery, followed up with 4 to 6 weeks of rehab. Marc had already been bed ridden for 10 months. In the recent past I had tried to convince him to attempt some gentle rehab, or to do some mild swimming pool exercise, in order to relieve his pain. Unfortunately, Marc was very immobile. I'm very sorry for Marc's recent pain and for all of his family and friends loss. Lets all enjoy and appreciate every day.

Marc was an athletic and memorable rugby player for Brown University when he was an undergraduate. Brown Rugby and those of us who were his team mates mourn his loss and extend our sympathies to his family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my wonderful friend who I met while I was at BU. He was my boyfriend for 2 beautiful years. What a sense of humor and such gentle soul. I never forgot him and am glad we recently spoke for over an hour on the phone, reminiscing and connecting as if we had seen each the week before. We hadn't talked in 30 years! My heart goes out to Darlene and the rest of the family.

From a fellow Brunonian and a laughing Fiji I have to say I loved this man. He was a caring friend and held me up at times when I needed it. He made me laugh at life and myself and I know that he knew I cared for him also. I grieve for him with all that knew and loved him. He was a great friend. Not much more to be said.

I just can't believe that our handsome, bright cousin Marc has died. Way too soon and so unexpected. Our condolences to Darlene and her family. So vibrant a man will be sorely missed by those who knew him.
With deep sorrow,
