Vivian Frances Dedrick

Dedrick, Vivian Frances JAMUL -- Vivian Frances Dedrick passed away in her home in Jamul, CA, surrounded by family, on July 4, 2013. She was 92. A gentle inspiration to all who knew her, especially her "Dear Ones," her children, Jim, Ted, Susan, Patricia, Russell and all of her grandchildren(6) and great-grandchildren(5). She was born in Missouri on March 18, 1921, to Gilbert and Naomi Vosseller. She married Warren J. Dedrick on June 9, 1946, and they moved on their honeymoon to San Diego, where Warren founded The El Cajon Valley Veterinary Hospital. Vivian belonged to the Lion's Club Auxiliary and was an active member of the Santee and El Cajon United Methodist Churches. She cherished time with her friends at the weekly Wednesday Bible study, on the golf course, but was most fulfilled by just being with her loving family. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Jim, in 1964, and her husband, Warren, in 2009. Memorial services will be held October 11, 2013 at 2pm at the El Cajon First United Methodist Church, 772 So. Johnson, El Cajon.
