Billy was born in Hayward, where he lived until graduating from high school, after which he joined the Coast Guard. After serving his country, he attended the Univ. of Washington (Economics, '63). Billy lived the saying "There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met." Wherever he went, he made new friends. He and Jo traveled extensively, taking cruises, visiting castles, going on safari. They visited China, Russia, South Africa, and much of Europe. Billy played golf around the world. He loved deep-sea fishing, wood working, barbequing, and hosting Super Bowl parties. He leaves behind many friends.
