Obituary Condolences

iconREOUX, ROGER June 18, 1924 to February 25, 2012 Roger Reoux grew up in Chicago a Cubs fan and moved to San Diego after enlisting in the Marines with whom he fought World War II. He once out-birdied Arnold Palmer in a Pro-Am tournament, but sacrificed golf, card games, and an aspiring writing career to raise a family with his wife Theodora (Diaz). He worked tirelessly and dedicated many hours coaching and attending his children's activities. His family was his purpose and joy, and he their caretaker and inspiration. He gave entirely of himself to those around him, and all his days remained more concerned about others than himself. Preceded in death by his wife, Terry; daughter, Tina. Survived by son, Joe (Cece); daughter, Denise (Robert Scolaro); and grandchildren, Alison; Luis; Adrian; Ben; Mario; Gabe; and Ysabel. He is at peace and will be interred at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Wednesday, December 26th at 1 p.m., all are welcome.
