LEON THEODORE GIESICK Obituary
GIESICK, LEON THEODORE March 4, 1954 to January 20, 2013 Ted Giesick, 58, of La Mesa, California, died Sunday the 20th at 10:30 p.m. He is survived by his wife Eutha Faye Giesick, son Clayton Macedo, and daughter-in-law Jenni Macedo, four grandchildren Billy, Gwen, Skyler and Chloee Macedo, brother Bob Giesick, sister-in-law Jill Giesick, niece Katie Giesick, uncle Richard Hathaway, and cousins Jim and Don Eppenbachs. Ted was a gentle, soft spoken man that loved life and his family. He was content with sitting by the pool with his family barbecuing or just reading the paper in the warm sun. He loved his sports especially NASCAR, just to see him come alive from the roar of the engines at the start of the race to the deafening sound as they would pass by. Ted also had a deep passion for music and electronics. His love for music ranged from R&B to blues classics and was happy to share it with anyone who wanted to enjoy the experience with him. The greatest joy in Ted's life was his grandchildren, just to see the joy he got holding them after they were first born was incredible. To see them grow and take their first steps to being big enough to push him down the halls. They would on occasion crash him in the walls and he would just laugh about it and say NASCAR here they come. Ted's smile said everything for him, his beautiful smile. His eyes lit up and looked deep inside your soul, you knew what he was saying without a word being spoken from his mouth, at least to me (wife). He surely will be missed, this soft spoken man, by friends and family. We love you Ted and will miss you deeply, always.
