Larry George Yglesia Obituary
Yglesia, Larry George ENCINITAS -- Larry George Yglesia, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Encinitas, CA. He was born July 28, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA to his parents Lester and Kathryn Yglesia. The eldest of two children, Larry served in the 181st Airborne division of the US army during the Vietnam war. He was founder and president of Circuit Processing Technology (CPT) based in Oceanside, CA. Upon the sale of CPT in 1999, Larry spent his retirement enjoying numerous interests including boating, fishing, electrical hobbies, video poker, Oscar Mayer hotdogs and helping friends with countless projects. As an automobile enthusiast, his love of cars spanned several decades and led to his ownership of some of the finest sports cars available. His most prized ride however, came just last year on his 70th birthday when he had the chance to ride shotgun in the original Weinermobile. Above all, Larry was a devoted family man and loved spending time with his family and close friends. From living the "van life" to spoiling his granddaughter, Larry could always be found surrounded by loved ones. Larry is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Jeanette Yglesia; his sister, Leslie Blaydes; sons, Bob Yglesia and Chris Yglesia; daughter, Joelle Cook; and their extended families. He also leaves behind a granddaughter, Addison Cook; and a grandson to be born June, 2014. Please join the family in a celebration of life to be held Thursday, April 17th at 10am in the Chapel at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 S. El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054. Viewing hours will be held Wednesday, April 16th at 3:30-7:30 pm at El Camino Memorial, 340 Melrose Ave, Encinitas, CA 92024.
