LOGAN, Lee J Passed away peacefully on February 15, 2013 at the age of 81. Lee was born to Ellis and Jennie Logan in Idaho Falls, ID. He enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Korean War as a flight engineer. Lee spent most of his life in Ukiah, CA and was a Captain for the California Division of Forestry, Mendocino Unit. He retired in 1985. Lee and his wife Gretchen then spent many winters in their RV at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and in Arizona. Lee was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ukiah and the CDFEA. In 2007, Lee and Gretchen moved to Fairwood Retirement Village in Spokane, WA where he served as President of the Residents' Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, and his sister. He is survived by his wife Gretchen; three children: Katrina Ballard of Ukiah, CA, Peggy (Phil) Arendt and Willard (Stephanie) Logan of Spokane, WA; grandchildren: Alyssa Ballard, Peter (Sally), Eric, and Michelle Arendt, Adrian Lerma and Elijah Logan; and his nieces and nephews. Interment was at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery.
