NASHUA - Adrien B. Salvas, 90, of Nashua and more recently of Hudson, died late Saturday evening, March 1, 2014, at his home at Laurel Place in Hudson after a period of declining health.Adrien was the widower of Lillian R. (Caron) Salvas who died May 19, 1972, and Theresa C. (Deboisbriand) Pelletier Salvas, who died Aug. 20, 2007.A native of Manchester, he was born on Oct. 7, 1923, a son of the late Exenophat and Anthala (Duguay) Salvas. Educated in Manchester schools, Mr. Salvas served with the Army during World War II. After the war, Adrien enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at many Air Force bases, including Colorado, Lincoln, Neb., Cape Cod, Mass., and several countries in Europe including France.After he retired from the Air Force, Adrien was employed with the former International Paper Box Machine Company in Nashua for several years and later was an active volunteer of the Corpus Christi Food Pantry. He was a communicant of St. Christopher Church.In addition to his parents, Adrien was predeceased by his wives, Lillian and Theresa; his son, Raymond W. Salvas who died in 2013; a stepson, Gerard "Gerry" Pelletier; and his brothers and sisters.Members of his family include a daughter and son-in-law, Anne L. and David Foley of Temple; four stepchildren, Richard R. Pelletier and his wife Rachel of Syracuse, N.Y., David P. Pelletier and his wife Ruth, Normand J. Pelletier and Doris T. Pelletier all of Nashua; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held at the Farwell Funeral Home, 18 Lock St., Nashua, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester St., Nashua, Wednesday morning at 11:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend. Military Honors and interment will take place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.Donations may be made in his memory to Honor Flight New England, P.O.
