CANDIA - Donald R. Hannaford, 78, of Candia, died May 6, 2013, at Catholic Medical Center.

Mr. Hannaford was born in Goffstown on March 6, 1935, the son of Joseph and Minnie (Sullivan) Riley. He had spent his earlier life in Manchester and was a resident of Candia for many years.
He was veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Budd Foods and later employed at Manchester Baggage Express.
Members of the family include his wife of 31 years, Roberta L. (Bean) Hannaford of Candia; one stepbrother, Joseph Burpee of Manchester; and two stepsisters, Roberta Frisella of Auburn and Joanne Bernard of Canada; also two nieces, Lynn Ducasse of Manchester and Marcelle Brooks of Kentucky; and his godchild, Thomas Ducasse of Manchester. He was predeceased by Virginia Elliot, Florence George, Janice Ducasse, Joseph Riley, John Riley and George Burpee.
Service: Visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Cain & Janosz Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 74 Brook St., corner of Pine Street, Manchester, followed by a service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Douglas Rickard.
Burial will be held in Grove Hill Cemetery Lisbon.
