HOOKSETT - George B. Donohue, Jr. 75, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at his home in Hooksett with his family by his side.

Born in Quincy, Mass., on Oct. 7, 1938, George was the son of Dr. George Sr. and Mary (Egan) Donohue. He joined the Army National Guard in 1956 and was honorably discharged from the Reserve in 1964.
Mr. Donohue had retired as a self-employed businessman with his entire career being in the graphic arts/printing equipment industry for more than 55 years and was one of the founding members of the N.H. Graphic Arts Association for Printers.
George had been actively involved with the Bow Snowmobile Club up until a few years ago and loved snowmobiling, boating and the New England Patriots. He started a cardiac volunteer program called The Caring Hearts at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia (Cort) Donohue of Hooksett; sons, Timothy Donohue and his wife Laura of Boylston, Mass., and Edmund "Ted" Donohue of Manchester; and four grandchildren, Timothy Donohue Jr., Lance Cpl. Christopher Donohue, Chelsea Donohue and Hannah Donohue. He also leaves three siblings, Rev. Ralph Donohue and his wife Judy of The Villages, Fla., Rosemary Reiss and her husband Dr. Paul Reiss of Burlington, Vt., and Ginny Morgan of Pocasset, Mass., with numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Donohue was predeceased by his son, George B. Donohue III in 2008.
SERVICES: The Donohue family will be having a celebration of life service for George which will be held at the Hooksett Congregational Church located at 5 Veterans Drive on Saturday, May 17, at 11 a.m. with a luncheon being served on site after the conclusion of the service.
