MANCHESTER - James M. Musheno, 90, passed away Jan. 10, 2014. He was born June 8, 1923, the son of James and Helen (Gantz) Musheno.

James graduated from Lebanon (Pa.) High School, in 1941. He was trained at the Lewis Hotel/Motel School in Washington, D.C. James took personnel and managerial courses while serving for 13 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1967.

James was the manager of several hotels, concluding his career at the Dover Inn, Dover, Del., where he was the general manager, responsible for final construction, opening, and operation of the 250-room facility. James went on to own and operate Diamond Jim's Tours, traveling across the U.S. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Manchester, the Elks Club, Travelers Protective Association and the Fraternal Order of Police.

James is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Dorothy; a son, William Hamilton; three daughters, Linda Hamilton, Donna Cooley and husband, David, and Barbara Bohan; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and Ray Musheno; a sister, Helen Rechter and husband, Bob; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jay Musheno.
