GOFFSTOWN - Luane F. Taber, 75, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2013, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of Raymond and Emma (Bowen) Van de Bogart of Weare, born June 8, 1937. She graduated from Weare High School in 1955.
Luane was employed by Gordon F. Bums Agency; Southern N.H. Services; St. Anselm College; and retired from the superintendent of schools office in Goffstown.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raymond H. Taber; two sons, Michael and his wife, Andrea of Goffstown and Ronald and his wife, Mary of Raymond; four grandchildren: Jennifer of Portsmouth, Timothy and Amy of Goffstown, and Cameron of Raymond, also three great-grandchildren: Ashley, Mandi, and Jonny of Portsmouth.
She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Raelene Turner. She is also survived by four brothers: Raymond and his wife Marilyn of New York, Lanny and his wife Lora of Florida, Gary of Montana, Jan and his wife Janis of Dunbarton; three sisters, Betty Bushey of New Boston, Norma and her husband Leonord Fobar of Michigan, and Judy and her husband David Demers of Rumney. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Friday April, 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home 17 South Mast St., Goffstown. Funeral services will be held privately later in the spring.
