MANCHESTER - Paul M. Gamlin, 71, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at his residence in Manchester.

Mr. Gamlin was born June 14, 1942, the son of the late Wilfred and Margaret (McDiarmid) Gamlin. Mr. Gamlin was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School.

He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Gamlin also served in the National Guard.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Gamlin was employed in route sales and worked for Morgan Linen for a number of years.

Mr. Gamlin enjoyed baseball and was a New York Yankees fan.

Members of his family include a son, Michael Gamlin of Gilford; a daughter, Erin Shagena of Penacook; two grandchildren, Abigail and Ryan Shagena; two step-grandchildren, James and Christopher Segedy; two brothers, Francis Gamlin of Dunbarton and Gerald Gamlin of Tewksbury, Mass.; one sister, Joan McMahon of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.


SERVICES: There will be an open house Sept. 8, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 71 Alice Drive, Penacook. To view an online memorial, go to The Phaneuf Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
