My father (Howard Foster) and my uncle (Paul Foster), and their brother ("Jimmy" Foster) spent many days of their youth with Peter Fuller in the Hampton / Rye Beach area, and it is a testament to the character and soul of the man that they held him in high esteem, called him "friend," and told wonderful stories about him for decades. My parents have passed away and are buried in Merrimac, and when I "visit them" I always try to drive up the coast road via Salisbury through North Hampton to Sea Road at Rye Beach, passing those magnificent homes (Fuller and Bottomley) and taking yet another photo of that fantastic horse pictured on that grand billboard at Runnymede Farm, and I always wonder at the power and the integrity and the honesty of one single man and how that made such a difference in so many lives. God Bless Peter Fuller, and peace to his family.

Sincere condolences to the Fuller family. We are distant Canadian relations through our common ancester George Edward Davenport of Medford (My great grandfather). While few of us actually met Peter we took great pride in his many accomplishments and followed his career with great interest. My late mother Mary Barbara Currie(his cousin) spent many summers in Boston and Little Boar's Head NH and knew him well. Our family will remember him in our prayers .May God grant comfort to all the Fullers and help you through this difficult time.

My grandmother, Alice Gertrude Davenport (Currie) was Peter's mother's sister. She spent many summer days with her Fuller cousins and I grew up hearing the stories. I was a horse crazy young girl when Dancers Image came along and was in awe that mom had a cousin with such an amazing horse. The families lost touch but my grandmother and my mother instilled in me that I had an American family of whom I should be proud. It is in my mom's memory that I send sincere condolences to you.

My now 81 yr. old dad was a mechanic during the 60's at Cadillac Olds on the original Automile, I have many fond memories of growing up at the dealership, going to work with him on Saturdays, and especially the annual Christmas party. I used to help setup the party and remember walking into what seemed likea huge room full of toys. Peter,a generous man lived a long life, leaving behind a legacy that will last for generations to come.

"From sire to sire
It's born in the blood
The fire of a mare
And the strength of a stud
It's breeding and it's training
And it's something unknown
That drives you and carries
You home."

I didn't really know you back then, but have admired you ever since. May the blessings of your legacy continue to serve the world as you would want, through all those who have felt your loving touch...and may God bless you in His love forever more.

As always...
