DERRY - Robert D. Dinsmoor, 87, of Derry died peacefully in his sleep at home on March 25, 2014. Bob was born in 1927 in Lucas, Kan.He served in the U.S. Army. Shortly after discharge, he worked at Elliot Address & Machine, where he met his loving wife of 59 years, Midge. He was then employed with New England Telephone, and after a 32-year career, he retired and they moved to Maine, where family joined them for many happy occasions in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. After 15 years of fishing on Mooselookmeguntic Lake and summer vacations with grandkids, they moved back to southern New Hampshire. Sunday family dinners were the highlight of his life, and the family will always cherish those moments and his sense of humor he never lost.Family members include his wife, Midge; son Thomas Dinsmoor; daughter Judy Lurie; and grandkids..

SERVICES: In his honor, the family will be holding a celebration of life event for friends and family at Lafayette Club in Nashua on Saturday, April 12, from noon to 6 p.m.
