HOOKSETT - Robert N. Bouchard, 80, of Hooksett passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2014, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.Robert was born in Nashua on Aug. 9, 1933, a son of the late Albert and Florianne (Levesque) Bouchard. He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Pinette) Bouchard of Nashua.Robert served our country in the U.S. Navy. Before meeting his wife, Robert was a Trappist monk in Spencer, Mass., for six years. He had been employed as a contract administrator with Sanders/BAE before retiring. He enjoyed bridge and other card-playing games, puzzles and all Boston sports. He also belonged to the Hooksett-ites. Robert had a strong Christian faith and belief in Jesus. In line with his strong Christian faith, he believed his true treasures were waiting for him in Heaven not of this Earth.Besides his wife, Robert is survived by three sons, Joseph Bouchard and his wife, Carol-Ann, of Concord, Paul Bouchard of Manchester, John Bouchard and his wife, Jennifer, of Springhill Tenn.; one daughter; Mary Bouchard of Simi Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Nash, Nina and Walker; one sister, Constance Erickson of Nashua; also many nieces, nephews and cousins..

SERVICES: There are no visiting hours.
