Obituary Condolences

Paul A.
Mr. Paul A. Deubler, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, on February 28, 1950, Paul was the son of the late Harold and Carol (Allen) Deubler. He was raised and educated in Sayre and attended Penn State University. Paul was blessed in his 20-year relationship with his soul mate, the former Carol McInerney-Kocienda; they were a unique couple who successfully blended their children into one family. Paul was employed by the New York State Department of Transportation for 20 years, retiring as a Highway Supervisor; he was proud of this position and of his accomplishments on the job. Paul enjoyed a unique and wonderful life on many different levels; he was a gourmet cook, and he tried his hand at games of chance on the Casino circuit where machines were his passion. With his smooth-talking 'silver tongue', he mastered the art of conversation, always mindful to be respectful and treat all people with dignity. Although his life may have been short in years, Paul's days were etched in love, respect, and honor. He was most proud of his children and praised their accomplishments; and he embraced the lives of his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Paul is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Frederick W. and Robin Deubler, Robert J. Deubler, Tara F. Deubler, Laura and Frank Sepulveres, Robin Roberts and Jeff Merilahti, and Daniel Kocienda; his grandchildren, Renee, and Kaitlin Deubler; Ethan Jayne, and Sophia Deubler; twins Paul, and Joseph Sepulveres; Chelsea, and Mattison Roberts; Julia, Emma, Jenna, and Evan Kocienda; and his beloved great-grandchild, Lilly Deubler. Also left to mourn his passing are his brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Gretchen Deubler; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, in-laws, and his longtime and best friend, Bubba Moore. He was predeceased by his sister, Joan Daniels; his nephew, Stephen Daniels; and his son-in-law, Kim Roberts. The family is grateful to the staff of Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc., for their presence in their home which brought much dignity during his journey. Carol was comforted by her co-workers at the Masonic Care Community through their support and generosity during this most difficult time. Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00-7:00 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Paul's funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence on Saturday morning at 10:00 at the funeral home with Rev. Jill Farnham-Us officiating the ceremony. Online tributes at: www.EannaceFuneralHome.com
