CARMEN FRANCES MAGES 1/28/1961 - 10/8/2013 Carmen Frances Mages, 52, passed away on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at 11:06 p.m. in her home in Apple Valley, Ca. after a 3 year battle with breast cancer. Carmen was born to James Clinton Ryan and Alma Frances Ryan, on January 28, 1961, in Inglewood, CA. Carmen was a graduate of Chino High School in 1979 and attended Chaffey College in Alta Loma, Ca. She married her high school sweetheart, John (Randy) Mages on July 25, 1981. Carmen worked for Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Co. for four years and Axiom Centration Co. for 10 years before establishing Envision Consulting Group Inc. in March 2005 with a long-time friend, Beth Hunter. Carmen loved to sew, travel, and cook, but most of all she loved her family. Carmen is survived by her husband Randy, three children; Ryan, Apple Valley; Brandon, Fort Carson, Colorado; Sara, Apple Valley; two grandchildren, Justin and Jamie; sister Jamie Harrigan and brother Clinton Ryan. Carmen was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister Brenda Benson. Arrangements are being handled by Sunset Hills Memorial Park Mortuary in Apple Valley. The Guest Page is available at http://obit.sunsethills.cc/ Services are scheduled for Thursday October 17, 2013 at Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church, viewing at 9 - 9:30 a.m., Rosary at 9:30 - 10:00 a.m., mass at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service will follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Park at 11:30 a.m. Reception will follow immediately in the Sunset Hills Chapel Veranda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The City of Hope Foundation (www.cityofhope.org/ giving).
