GEORGE E. WADAGNOLO, JR. 12/21/1940 - 6/21/2013 George E. Wadagnolo, Jr. (Maj. USAF, Retired), affectionately known as Gumby to those who knew him best, died on June 21, 2013, at his home in Victorville. Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. He is survived by his wife Julia, his son Ed and daughter-in-law Marylou, grandsons Josh and Joel, all of Covington, WA and his daughter Ann and son-in-law Robert Kirkland of Highland, CA. George was born December 21, 1940, in Newburgh, NY, graduated from Manhattan University NYC and Penn State University. He served 20 years as a meteorologist in the US Air Force including tours with the Hurricane Hunters. He also worked for the Engineering Department of the City of Victorville. George was known for his love of trains and cats, passions surpassed only by his love for family and friends. He would like us to remember, "Nothing is worth as much as it used to be except family and friends."
