KENNETH SCOTT CHAMBERS Kenneth Scott Chambers, 65, of Apple Valley, CA passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 from pancreatic cancer. Ken was born on October 10, 1947 in Hollywood, Ca. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and it was the Air Force that brought Ken to the High Desert, where he made this his home. After the service, Ken began his career in the car business at various dealerships, one of them being his father-in-law's but he found his home at Sunland Ford and that's where he remained for the past 40 years. Ken was truly what many others pretend to be: someone who brought the best values of business and leadership to his community's challenges. He was informed, engaged, honest, fair and decisive. The two biggest joys of Ken's life were watching his grandsons play ball. Brandon in baseball and Andrew in football. He never missed a game. Ken is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kay Chambers; mom Camille Kolb of Apple Valley; son Scott Chambers and daughter-in-law Candy Chambers of Apple Valley; daughter Stacy Henry of Upland; and grandsons Brandon Chambers and Andrew Chambers both of Apple Valley. Services will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 11:00 am at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley.
