MICHAEL DAVID CUNNINGHAM 3/24/1954-6/22/2014 Michael David Cunningham, gone too soon at 60 years old. Born March 24, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; then shortly moved to the beautiful west coast of Huntington Beach, CA where he spent most of his childhood years. When he was 17 years old he joined the United States Marine Corps, where he developed an interest in gasoline transportation. Shortly after, he made it his life long career for 25 years until he medically retired. Mike battled his disease long and hard until he took his last breath in the presence of his family June 22, 2014 at VA Loma Linda Medical Center. Survived by: His brothers; Ed Cunningham, his wife and daughter Tamsin and Elizabeth Cunningham; oldest brother Larry Southworth, his wife Lily, and their families. His children; Christopher Michael Cunningham at 19 years old; daughter Crystal Finerty, and her husband Jacob Finerty. His Aunts; Dee Hunter and Pat Martz and their families, and many friends, co-workers, and acquaintances who will have a lifetime of stories about this man. Mike Cunningham will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, caring heart, and his positive outlook against all odds. He saw it all, did it all, and went through it all with no complaints. He will be truly missed and remain in the hearts who loved him.
