RAYMOND ALBERT JORDAN 2/6/1922 - 7/20/2014 Raymond Albert Jordan born February 6th, 1922 passed away peacefully on his beloved ranch July 20th 2014, he was 92. Ray was a sophomore at UCLA in ROTC when he was drafted into the US Navy as an Ensign. There he commanded 12 ships safely back to the US from Japan during WW2. After serving his country, he returned to UCLA and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He soon became a yatch and ship broker in Long Beach, California. In 1954 he married Maurine Patricia Hyland in Palos Verdes where he had two children, Paul R. Jordan of Barstow and Mauray M. Campagna of Moorpark, Ca. Tired of the city life and longing for the open space and ranch style living, in 1969 he traded an apartment building in Torrance, for the Tee Pee Ranch in Barstow where he became a Real Estate Broker. In 1972 Ray open the doors to Jordan Realty and in 1975 he was President of the Barstow Board of Realtors. He traveled the world. For the next 32 years he was well respected in the community and a man of his word. Ray's love of his ranch allowed him to breed and raise cattle. Ray Jordan is survived by his wife Maurine, son Paul, daughter, Mauray, daughter in law Jill and 5 grandchildren, Cash, Gage and Lucky Jordan, Alena and Mario Campagna. Rays light was an inspiration to all who knew him. His ideas and beliefs will live on with his family. Ray will be truly missed.
