(J.D.) Dale Hensz
Joseph (J.D.) Dale Hensz, 46, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Bayview.
He was a 1985 graduate of Harlingen High School and a 1991 graduate of University of Texas San Antonio with a bachelor degree in Arts/Anthropology; he was a member of The Kanaka Hekili Motorcycle Club of Maui, Hawaii, The Valley Land Fund, and the research service manager of the Program of Belize; he loved to go fishing, hunting, motorcycling, and traveling. His greatest love was hunting and fishing and participating in the Texas International Fishing Tournament as the captain of his boat ``Seaesta', and winning numerous offshore division awards.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Raydean Hensz; his father, Albert (Chickie) Hensz; his sister, Carrie (John) Omick; his nieces and nephews, Cody Kilbourn, Lacey Kilbourn, Kelsey Omick, Kendall Omick, Keaton Omick, and Seven Omick; his grandmother, Maxine Ramsey; his stepbrother, Curt (Lisa) Bonner and their son, Stephen; and his stepsisters, Chris (Jeff) Karenbauer and Cydney (Greg) Kaminski.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at San Benito Funeral Home with Chris Hall officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Beakley, Rocky James, David Day, Jesse Artiaga, Jay Kuykendahl, Tyke Hull, Charlie Comstock (Houston), Derek Wray, and George Worm.
