Sydney Yvonne Deyo-Ayoub
BROWNSVILLE, TX -
Sydney Yvonne Deyo-Ayoub passed away December 31, 2012 at the age of 78. Born in Brownsville, Yvonne was the daughter of Reuben & Vannie Deyo, owners of Vannie-Tilden Bakery. She attended Brownsville High School where she was a Majorette. She attended the University of Texas and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. In 1971, Yvonne moved to Winter Haven, FL where she was known throughout the state for her talent of designing and baking exquisite wedding cakes.
She is preceded in death by brothers Fred Deyo, Van Deyo, son Thomas Ayoub and her daughter Lynn Ayoub. She is survived by four sons, one daughter and seven grandchildren.
A service will be on January 5, 2013 at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Winter Haven, FL.
