DAD,aka: Gezzer, Pop's, Two Tone,G-Daddy,
Tommie. With our hearts broken endless love, our family would like to announce the passing of Terry. Survived by his wife Irene, and loving children, Theresa (Len), Owen (Carmen) AnnMarie (Duane), Patricia (D'Arcy); precious grandchildren, Keely, Tanner, Taylor, Jacob, Naomi, Steven, Miranda, Scarlett. Brother Owen (Marjorie); Sisters, Marie, Eileen, Sheila, Kay (predeceased) (Doull); many nieces and nephews here and in the United States. Terry was born in Regina, moving to Vancouver where he met Irene while both were working for ChanTV. Terry worked in the news business in both Radio and Newspaper before working for CBC News as a Reporter for 31years retiring in 1994. Canim Lake in the Cariboo became his true enjoyment for 12 years. Many happy days were spent at their cabin overlooking the lake with family, friends and wine! Terry was a man of many words. His stories will forever live in the hearts of people who knew him. he was always looking over his family tended to give his input on any situation. When he spoke his words would flow to questions and answers of wisdom. Terry was always ready to greet you with a smile and firm handshake. His hobbies included both the stock market and books! Terry was the role model for our family and THAT will never be forgotten. Family meant everything to Terry and he will be watching and guiding us always. We will miss his stories!! Funeral Mass will be held November 5, 2013 at 1:30pm. Good Shepherd Church 2250 150th Street Surrey, BC. Refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
