Arthur L. Trude Arthur L. Trude, 99, of Visalia passed away peacefully Sunday January 6, 2013. He was born in Loyalton, South Dakota were he spent most of his childhood never missing one day of school. At the age of 17 he was very determined to go to college, with the little money he had at the time Arthur hitch hike all the way to Minnesota to live with his aunt, were he enrolled and attended the University of Minnesota. After school Arthur spent much of his life overseas in different countries such as: Sumatra, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq working for an oil company doing oil exploration, getting to experience many different types of cultures which he enjoyed very much. Arthur had a cheerful and positive attitude on life, and never had a bad thing to say about anyone he will be remembered for always having a big smile on his face. After retiring most of Arthur's time was spent on gardening and manicuring his lawn to perfection, it was one of his most cherished passions in life. Arthur is now in Heaven in the company of his two late wife's Beulah and Pat Trude who passed away due to illness. He is also with his loving daughter Joan Fabreque who was a school teacher in Palos Verdos CA and had passed away at the young age of 59. He is survived by his lovely wife of 15 years Mary Palmer Trude who was always by his side and cared for him dearly. Son in law, Louse Fabreque grandchildren: Louse Fabreque Jr, Ruthann Mangham(Robert), Beverly Marchbanks(Ron), Erik and Greg Gonsalves. Great grandchildren: Wyatt, Rebecca, Tami, Kristin, Kiona, Jazlyn, and Leila. A service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel followed by a burial service at Tulare District Cemetery.
