Eddie Sanchez Eddie Sanchez was born on August 8, 1929 in Corcoran, CA. As a young child his family moved around from Clovis, Pinedale, and Fresno before settling in Tulare in 1943. In that same year Julian Sanchez and Son Dairy was formed. Eddie enjoyed working side by side on the farm with his father, Julian and also his brother David, after he was born. The only time he spent away from the farm was when he served in the army from 1951-1955 during the Korean War. Eddie enjoyed being involved in his community and over the years assisted various groups such as the Palo Verde 4-H, the Palo Verde Community Club, and the Tulare FFA Boosters. He was also a member of the Amvet's and the Elk's lodge. He was most proud of his 17 year involvement with the Dairyman's Finance Committee where he made many lasting friendships. Eddie was fortunate to marry Martha Mora of Guadalajara, Mexico in 1973 and they recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. Together they had two daughters Rose Machado of Tulare and Mary Sanchez-Allwein of San Diego. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Julian and Mercedes Sanchez, his sister Ruth Garcia, and his brother David Sanchez. Eddie is survived by his wife, Martha Sanchez of Tulare, his daughters and their husbands Joe and Rose Machado of Tulare and Mike and Mary Allwein of San Diego, and four grandchildren Joseph and Olivia Machado and Evan and Eddie Allwein, as well as two sisters and two brother-in-law's Tom and Isabel Brockhouse of Tulare, Josephine Gonzalez of Fresno, Michael Garcia of Porterville and several nieces, nephews, and godchildren who will miss him dearly.
